I created two pieces today that I then messed with. Both the pieces were made by sewing bent rusty nails from the wood stove onto stretched muslin. The original idea was to create a font by sewing the nails on, but it took me about half an hour sewing the first one, and about the same for the second that the idea of doing 26 quickly faded away.
