March 3rd:
I created a triptych about the START and the END of it all. END was done first; by squeezing red ink on a small square of cardboard in the shape of a lowercase 'e' and then an upper case 'N' & 'D'. The 'D' used more ink then I anticipated and spilled into itself; thus a black 'D' was born. I added whiteout, used a Micron 005 to highlight the whiteout dots with a fine black line and then I added purple splotches of textile paint. I then sprinkled the whole piece with copper power, and of course it only stuck to what ever was wet. Then I realized that explaining all of this about a 2" piece of artwork ruins the whole experience.
