The state passed another sports betting law in 2014 and lost again in district court. The Third Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed that decision as well. The state appealed that decision and lost that appeal too. The case moved on to the US Supreme Court. The Solicitor General recommended the court pass on hearing the case, but the court took it up and heard oral arguments in December 2017.

A new graphics package for Fox Sports broadcasts was introduced for Fox's NASCAR coverage leading up to the 2014 Daytona 500. Fox Sports Midwest producer Max Leinwand described the look as being "cleaner" than the previous design.[49] The design has also been used to introduce new design conventions for some of Fox's graphics; for NASCAR, the running order ticker was replaced by a leaderboard-style display that was initially displayed as a vertical sidebar.[49][50] MLB uses a score bug at the bottom-right (initially at the bottom-left) of the screen instead of the top-left, while NFL utilized a top-left score bug with a layout similar to the one used 2010 to 2011.
On June 26, 2018, WWE and Fox Sports announced a five-year agreement to air WWE SmackDown in a deal worth $205 million per year.[29][30] The agreement came as WWE's previous broadcast deal with NBCUniversal's USA Network to air both SmackDown and WWE Raw was set to expire. Fox had hoped to acquire Raw for the Fox network and SmackDown for Fox Sports 1.[31][32] However, amid a competitive bidding situation, NBCUniversal focused its efforts on renewing Raw, freeing up Fox to pursue SmackDown.[33] Under the new deal, SmackDown will move to Friday nights on Fox beginning on October 4, 2019.[34][35]
